Best subs in the world period! But they are only open for a couple hours per day around lunch time, that's it. These guys always have fresh meats and veggies, I have no idea how they do it but in December they have fresh tomatoes just picked a day or two ago. And they all are very pleasant attitude towards the customers, from the person taking the orders he always has nice things to all of the customers, and to the lady running orders out to tables she always stops and speaks kind words to my grand daughter, really great place to be.

Fresh homemade burgers. Don't go in a hurry, they make everything to order.(but it doesn't take long) Fresh buns, fresh mozzarella, fresh meats they are only open for lunch until 2. Salads are great too. Their horse dressing is delicious! Cash only.

Best burgers and subs in Harrisburg, hands down. Would highly recommend. Great variety of subs and burgers.

Pretty tasty. I was told the cheesesteaks were the best around. I disagree. South philly is better. However, the staff at Jacksonhouse, especially the older woman that took my order more than made up for the sandwich.

The Jackson House can boast more than the best Burgers in Harrisburg, we need to add the "Best Cheesesteak" to the list as well! They start with an Amoroso type roll that is light, crisp and crusty on the outside and soft & tender on the inside. This freshly baked manna serves as the perfect resting place for the piping hot and thinly sliced beef, caramelized onions, american cheese and, of course, my favorite accoutrement - mayonnaise (Harrisburg Guy). This cornucopia of flavors melts in your mouth causing you to close your eyes in order to fully enjoy this gastronomic symphony with minimal distraction.
