I've been going to Combine Brothers for over 20 years. My family has taken many friends and family members over the years because the food has always been delicious and well made. I don't go too often because I don't live as close as I used to. My husband and I stopped this past Saturday for dinner. Years ago you used to get a big salad with lots of vegetables and a delicious Italian dressing on the side. Now it has been reduced to lettuce, croutons and a not so exciting red wine vinaigrette served on a tiny plate. No refills like before. The rolls still taste homemade and delicious. The pasta, not al dente and the portions have definitely been cut in half. You used to be able to get 3-4 meals out of one serving but now it's dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow portions. Even my husband admitted that the plates looked smaller and we had less food. I paid $2.95 for greens to be added to my dish, they were tasteless and rubbery. Prices are still the same but I guess management has decided to cut corners at the customers expense so they can line their pockets. Service was great. Although our waitress was busy, she did an outstanding job. Overall it seems that Combine Brothers is sacrificing quality and quantity but charging the same! Not sure that the hour and a half drive is worth it anymore!

This place deserves higher than 5 stars! The meals are huge so be prepared to take a box home to enjoy at a later time. Their sauces are superb. My favorite is the carbonara topped with Italian greens or pasta with olive oil and garlic topped with scallops. Yummy! Each dinner is served with a big crusty roll and butter and a nice big salad with dressing of your choice. Seating is plentiful so rarely a wait except for weekend nights. If you complete a short survey they'll send you a $3 coupon redeemable on your birth month. Enjoy the taste of Italy today!

Our family has been eating at Combine Brothers for over 20 years. Tonight we ordered 4 take out meals. Seems the quality has really gone down. All of our meals were floating in water. The marinara sauce was very sour and it looked like big huge chunks of boiled tomatoes. Once upon a time, when you ordered scallops, they were big and plentiful. The last few years they have gotten smaller and fewer. They are not soft and juicy, but tough and over cooked. So sad because this use to be one of our favorite restaurants. I can honestly say, unless things change, it will not remain as one of our top choices. We have taken many of our guest to the restaurant over the years. We will be searching for a new venue.

I really like the atmosphere! Food is exceptional as well! Price is very comparable. Waitress that I had could of had just a little more personality! She acted like she was just there for her shift, not like she wanted to be. Only second time there & will definately go back!!!

I decided to make a spontaneous visit to PA this weekend and asked one of the locals where I good restaurant was and he suggested Combine Brothers. I'm so glad that I went! The service was awesome and the food was even better! Huge helpings and the servers are so friendly!
