Lovely restaurant right off of a quiet cobblestone side street in the center of the town of Lancaster! Perfect for a nice dinner or special occasion. Very pretty dining room and bar area. Smart casual or dressy. Food was wonderful! Recommend trying the ravioli....to die for! Drinks were very good and fruit tart dessert very fresh. Our server was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, friendly and sweet as could be!

The food was very good although the portions were an insult. $31 for three scallops had my husband walking out hungry. The couple sitting next to us ordered another dish and while they said it was tasty, there was nothing to it. Just not worth the price for value. Japanese Harmony specialty drink was very good.

I would say it's one of the best hamburgers you can buy in Lancaster. I ate upstairs, atmosphere is very friendly clean and nice bartender. Nice selection of beers easy parking I would definitely go back

We went to Carr's today for brunch. The bloody Mary was very good. We ordered the Hangtown Fry with a "toasted buttered bagel" and The Cobb Salad with dressing on the side and a piece of Salmon. The salad sat on the service shelf under the lights where another server was leaning over it talking with the chef while waiting for the slightly over done over peppered salmon. They use the cheap pepper and too much of it. The most upsetting thing was how this person probably thought there was nothing wrong that they were leaning over our food carrying on a conversation. My toasted buttered bagel came unbuttered and less than warm. Save your money on the "fresh squeezed orange juice" as it is just Tropicana. The waiter than asked if he could take my plate while my wife was still eating. At that point he also asked if we wanted dessert and when we said no he asked if he could leave the check. He was pleasant so I don't necessarily fault him. I put the blame with the owner who seemed more interested in socializing than paying attention to his paying customers. Perhaps you should take the time to make sure everybody's happy instead of socializing and that might have guaranteed that we would come back because everybody can have an off-day. Or he could have used that time for better training of his staff. If he had taken the time to see if we had enjoyed our meal I would have shared my concerns in person rather than on Google.

I would give this place half a star if I could. My sister and I went to enjoy a nice meal - the staff was rude and treated us like they were disgusted to have us in their restaurant. They told us how busy they were when the entire restaurant was empty, they sat is in the dark downstairs of the restaurant where we were then greeted again rudely by staff. The food was also terrible. We both ordered the medalion terdenloin, which was a combination of flavors that just didn’t work- gag worthy. It consisted of a very small piece of cheap meat (advertised as filet, which I find hard to believe), potato cake, blue cheese, topped with the onion crispers you get from Penera. The overall ratio was completely off, the blue cheese and onion crispers took over this entire meal. The potato cake also tasted like soup box mix. This meal was completely overpriced and just disgusting. Advice to management - hire more friendly staff and maybe focus less on restaurant decor and more on serving food that has great flavor and will leave guests wanting more.
