Terrible

Good if you like hair burgers. Stopped with my brother, both got salad bar and 1.99 burger. I ate small salad and got burger with hair. Told greeter and manager came and told me my meal was free. Manager offered me anything to eat, told him I no longer had an appetite and did not want anything at all at that time to eat. Paid 23.00 for my brothers salad and burger, ridiculous. Will never patronize Hoss's again. Used to go to Ebensburg all the time where I live, will not stop there anymore either. Manager came over and it looked like he slept in his shirt the night before it was so wrinkled, not a management person or professional at all, Hoss's what's going on with you people????????

Good prices, decent food, good salad bar. Never had bad service. I've been going here for years. Gets kind of busy on the weekends, but nothing extreme. Cozy, country-style environment that's good for family dinners.

Hoss's Steak House is good place for a relaxing dinning experience. I like the salad bar because it is more than just lettuce and tomato options. There is always a few soup selections like chicken noodle, chicken rice, tomato, cheese, chili, clam chowder, and French. Garlic bread goes well with the soup. Desserts are available like ice cream and jello. The service is average. I like the four ounce steak tips because it's just enough steak for me.

Service was great expediant and polite. The selection was good. The food was good qaulity. The salad bar could of been a little neater.

While it is a family friendly place to eat and we'll kept...the staff (one of them who greeted us) asked what we wanted to drink...I asked what do you offer as a drink selection...he then stated, "I'm sorry, I am not your server and I am tired...I have been here since 11 this morning!" It was 8 pm. While I know that working on any service industry can be tiring, especially when dealing with the public, I also can do math and that Ida only 9 hours. I work in healthcare and am at workready to go at 7 am and am usually not done until 8 pm...with no lunch breaks most of the time. And I have an hour commute each way. So complaining how tired you are and then dancing around a question that you initiated is rude, indignant, and more importantly sets you and the establishment up for debate over whether or not we will eat here again. Poor service and complaints are not what I expected when I went out with my family this evening after my wide who also works in health care had just gotten off work after being there for twelve and a half hours with the same 1 hour commute each way.

It's Hoss's. It's a place to grab something cheap and semi edible. Don't expect more than that and you'll be happy.
