Though it can be a bit difficult to find parking, the food at Majolica was delicious. Delicate flavors blend with bold punches of spice. The pork belly and scallops were beautifully plated and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The squid ink pasta with it's garlic velvety, buttery coating contrasted nicely with the slight bitterness of the spices used on the squid meat. Service was excellent and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. She even stopped by to replace our candle when it went out. While it's not going to be a go to spot for my wife and I we would certainly come back to enjoy a gourmet meal.

Positively wonderful! It is clear the chef sources the highest quality ingredients and innovatively creates magnificent tasting dishes. The presentation of dishes is both thoughtful and artistic. Finally, the atmosphere is inviting and the service superb. A truly lovely experience!

Majolica never disappoints. Andrew's kitchen staff is beyond talented, and is matched by the skill, knowledge and attentiveness of Douglas and the crew in the front of the house. This trip my kids tried scallops, octopus and sweetbreads for the first time, and there wasn't a morsel of anything left in any of our three courses. If you are on the fence between here and somewhere else, don't make the mistake of going somewhere else.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Philadelphia suburbs. I think it is a terrific local find that will surprise you. Although relatively small, the variety and creativity of the menu stacks up with any Philadelphia restaurant. My favorite things are the focaccia bread, the tuna and potato chip amuse-bouche, the soft-shell crab BLT, and the flourless chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream! Ask for Cheryl.
