This place is a five star. When y’all come here, have yourself some of the seafood tasting. Best scallops I have had in my life and the halibut is clearly distinguished. Its the best white corn grits in the country and the veggies are exquisite. Below is the pork belly from the tavern menu. Also the best saucing in the land!

I came here to watch a pens game and sat at the bar. The beer selection is pretty good, but most of it is mainstream stuff and a small selection of local beers. I then ordered the calamari for an app, which was really good. The calamari was cooked well, and the sauce provided was a really sweet sauce with a real kick. The mac n cheese that I ordered with pulled pork tasted very bland to the point where you couldn't really taste the pulled pork in it which was a shame. Wife ordered the PEI Mussel Pot which had a decent flavor to it. The menu said it was supposed to come with kielbasa (weird for a mussel pot) but they either forgot it, or the menu was a typo.

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a pleasurable dining experience. Our party of 4 made reservations for 645pm on a Sunday evening. We got sat immediately (that was the best part of our experience, yay!) We waited nearly 10 minutes for our server to come greet us (mind you they were not overly busy or crowded during the duration of our time there). We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks, 45 minutes for our entrees and another 25 minutes for our replacement entrees after we had to send 3 out of the 4 dishes back for being over cooked and clearly sitting in the window for ages. Once we got our replacement entrees not a single person between the 3 who had been helping us came back to check on us. We had to track the manager down to get our bill so we could pay and leave. The manager and the 2 servers we encountered all had poor attitudes and were clearly annoyed with us for having decent expectations for our $40 entrees. We walked out of there at 9:05pm with our minds blown, and definitely not in a good way. Anyone with any type of experience in the restaurant industry could see with ease the complete lack of communication between the manager, the servers and the kitchen staff. It's a shame because the place has a lot of potential if it had good leadership/ management. Attitude reflects leadership and everyone had a BAD attitude here. We definitely won't ever waste our time here again.

Always a good stop, eat. This is a large place to eat and drink. Lots of windows that open up during season and also outdoor seating. Easy to walk right up and in to sit and enjoy. Very large bar that appears to be rather well stocked. Food was excellent that last time we were here and service was tops. Very close to the convention center so easy to walk right over for a bite or drink.

I've been here a number of times. I keep coming back and trying new things. I've enjoyed everything that I've had here. I like the laid-back atmosphere, the very helpful staff and delicious. Today I tried the chicken and waffles. Delicious. The deviled eggs are freaking amazing! Not what I would call a low priced restaurant however the value is high.
