Part whisky bar part restaurant Butcher had a great atmosphere. There was a wall of various whisky bottles some were hard to find. They also various specialized cocktails. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a drink. I enjoyed the meal as well. The place reminded me of a bar you would find in Manhattan.

Absolutely outstanding food. Everything is unique Americana with a different twist and it's all absolutely outstanding. That's not even mentioning the unbelievable selection of whiskey, scotch and bourbon that they have on hand. If you're ever in downtown Pittsburgh this is definitely one place you'll want to check out.

The food was good. Not the greatest I've had, but good. Creative, and tasty. Service was also very good. Trendy fare for sure. The only complaint was seating for parties of 2 gets VERY tight. It's a standard Pittsburgh try to do as much as you can with the space you have to maximize usage, however, we literally felt like we may have been having dinner with the people directly next to us, and getting in and out between the tables without feeling like I was imposing on their dinner was a challenge, which put a little damper on the feel of the evening. Seating for larger groups seemed a bit more accomidating.

Really nice atmosphere for an evening out. It does get really crowded would 100% recommend a reservation. They have amazing drinks and small plates. The large plates aren't exactly the size we expected, but the food was still great

Friendly, personable staff who can make your experience one to remember. Tier one operators and trade craft. These guys understand service and 'next level' food. I will be back as soon as I can. The upstairs bar staff was so much fun to talk to.
