Great food for the price. Good selection. Not fancy but just good enough

My wife and I were looking for a late night dinner after a show at the State College Theater and came across The Corner Room as one of our few options after the show. Most of the places were bars filled with the rowdy college crowd. We are so glad this was a nice cozy place to sit down and eat It's such a gem and has the best service. The Jumbo crispy wings were a delicious surprise! We had ours with the spicy garlic ranch, which was super tangy and just the right amount of heat. And the pizza was super crispy and filled with the toppings tasting it seemed to be made from scratch. My wife had the burger which was cooked medium and fit the bun perfectly and, was juicy and full of flavor. You must finish your meal off with the grilled stickie bun! It's sweet, warm and, crispy. Don't forget the Ice cream! Great american food. This place is wonderful and the local energy makes my wife and I want to come back the next time we are in State College.

I really wanted this place to have a killer breakfast. It didn't. My omlette was really overcooked to the point of rubbery. The coffee, however, was very good. Perhaps omlettes aren't their thing... The waitress was very nice.

Atmosphere is great but the food is basic bar/pub food and not the top choice for eating downtown

The food here is good but probably not worth the five stars I gave it. However 50 years ago when I was in college this was the place to hang out. It has lost none of its flavor or atmosphere and still offers up a good meal at a very reasonable price. There is also alcohol served here.
