El Paisa has been a staple of Central Falls for many years now. It has been known as the place to go if you want authentic Spanish food. The food is great, they come in big portions and are very filling and tasty. However El Paisa does suffer from a lack of service. Once you walk in there's an awkward dilemma if you seat yourself or wait for a waitress to seat you. The waitress are most often native Spanish speakers so their English is not great but they are capable of understanding what you want to order but asking them questions about the food can be a problem in of itself. The time to get the food is the most major downfall, they take an extraordinary anount of time regardless if you order for 2 people or 6. They don't take card only cash. There's an ATM there but it's an additional inconvenience having to withdraw cash just to pay your check. Overall the food is good, but the service can be much better.

Poor costumer service, long Wait for the food, small size plates compare to other Colombian restaurants nearby and it was also expensive. Sure thing not coming back there.

1st time at this restaurant and I was not pleased at all. It smelled amazing when you walked in and the restaurant looked nice but when we received the food it was sub par. I ordered rice and beans it came with a sweet plantain and something that I think was supposed to be a grilled tortilla puff. The puff was cold and and I advised the staff and all she did was ask me if I liked it. The sweet plantain was dry and luke warm. Never mind the rice and beans. The only thing I received hot was my fried yuca which you can tell was freshly made. I left not feeling well and I am still paying for it now. I did not have a good experience and know I will never return
