Well the food and service were great. Not sure why anyone would have anything but an amazing experience.

It started out to be an enjoyable evening at the Pier, however it didn't last long. Waitress was very attentive at first then she disappeared after serving drinks. The food arrived a long while after the drinks. The burger had rotten lettuce, salad with no dressing, lobster that was so over cooked the shell was white, grease fired clams and two whole dinners that never made it to the table despite alerting the manager. The need an overhaul all around. Don't waste you time or $$$. Christine Trudeau

Great place to sit outside and eat and drink, excellent seafood, bit pricey, waiter had an attitude

Stopped here on a girls weekend while exploring the mansions. Loved the location, loved the duo playing music but that was about it I ordered a frozen Mudslide, I got a Mudslide with chopped ice. It was blended way too much. My friends ordered two bloody Mary's. They were flavorless and missing the bacon that was supposed to be in them. When we asked about it we were told by the waiter "Oh, I ASSUMED you wanted the plain ones. " He should have asked which they wanted. We didn't know there was more than one option. We had ordered off the special drink menu, had the menu in hand when they ordered so of course we ASSUMED that he was going to bring the one on the menu! We ordered clam cakes. Living in Maine I do know what a clam cake is but it is obvious that the cook here doesn't. What they serve is a clam fritter that is very doughy and far from a clam cake. One of my friends had scallops and while they tasted Ok, for 24,00 she should have gotten more than 6/8 scallops. The other woman I was with had a burger that is described as a juicy angus beef burger. What she got was a preformed dry burger. When our food came we had to wait for someone to come back to bring us silverware since there was none at the table when we got there and no one bothered to deliver any. Thankfully this was the only down part of our weekend. It is on the list of places to never go to again though!

Local draft beer is great. I got the newport blueberry draft. Burger came back well done when I asked for medium. I did enjoy the lobster bisque but almost no lobster. My waiter barron was fantastic deff was a great part of the experience. Half price apps for lunch. Overall great views and outdoor seating.
