Great place to enjoy the views of Newport’s crown jewel, the beach. The Spiced Pear sits atop a scenic overlook of First Beach and the Cliff Walk, making this place a perfect stop for an elegant drink or bite to eat. The Spiced Pear lets locals and travelers alike relish in the gilded age of Newport’s aristocratic past, in an upscale, fine dining experience.

Exquisite views, superb food on the terrace. We had our daughters with us (4 and 6) who loved looking at the gorgeous flowers in the garden. Hotel looks fantastic but a little rich for our wallet so we will return for lunch again!

This restaurant is very good at what it does. It is a high end restaurant with a great view of second beach. The food always has a twist and is something that I could never make at home. The dinning staff is very well trained, table clothes are high quality cloth, nice everything. If you are looking to make a statement with your choice of a restaurant this is a good place to go.

One of the best meals I've ever had. The service was amazing, the food was perfect, and the view was breathtaking. It was an amazing evening.

My wife and I just completed another exceptional New Year's Eve dinner at the Spiced Pear. Cole was our waiter and as always, provided us exceptional service. The food was magnificent throughout the five courses , and we couldn't be more pleased. We already booked reservations for Valentine's Day, and we will be returning more frequently, as we have never been disappointed when dining there.
