I use to come here every time my mama and sister visited from out of state just under 15yrs ago. I was a nice little cafe with good food. It's been about 10yrs since my last visit until last week when my preteen daughter chose this for her birthday outing. It is still a cute and cozy place but the prices to quality/quantity of food are high. I can't say I'd come back again.

I love this cafe! My husband and I went there for brunch on Saturday and the food was really good. You can feel the friendly, southern atmosphere. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff. The wait for the food did not take long and the desserts, especially their cinnamon rolls were good.

Beaufort is a very lovely town and the Magnolia Bakery Cafe is in the one of the prettiest areas. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the water and the big old trees with moss hanging from them. Service was slow, and the food was fine. All in all, we were glad we stopped and will probably stop there again, next time we are in Beaufort.

So I can't say too much about the service my server was new and I want to say inexperienced but no she did her best for someone new and I value that and the biscuit and gravy it's like $5.50 it was pretty good actually. the gravy was off-putting visually did not look appetizing but the quality of the food taste wise was excellent the biscuits were light and Airy very fluffy the gravy you can tell is homemade possibly a family recipe overall I give this a three out of five I was not checked up on but that's okay she's new I myself am a server at The Waffle House on Lady's Island I know how things should go in a restaurant

My wife and I frequently visit and have never been unhappy. The service is great, the food fantastic, and the atmosphere is relaxing. If visiting, you must try the crabcake sandwich from the hot menu....you will not be disappointed!
