Such awesome BBQ xx you can smell it from the street and the house made sauces, even something as simple as coleslaw, everything was so tasty! The sweet tea was amazing. Clean bathroom's. Our server Jamie was great, our daughter loved his accent! He suggested some things for us to do while we were in Charleston that were really helpful. We will definitely go back.

Went here with some guests from out of town and had a nice meal. There were a few of us hoping for smoked turkey but we settled for some tasty chicken wings instead. 4 stars because the food is good for the most part. You might end up with a not great fatty cut of ribs or a fantastic cut as we saw on our table in the same dish but two different people. Also the menu could explain things a bit better, for example (and maybe I missed it) the wings come with the yummy homemade pickles as a garnish, so if you order it as a side (which I did) you end up with double pickles. I enjoyed them, don't get me wrong, but I would have tried something else as a side if I had known. We went for an early dinner, it was fast, overall good, and friendly service.

Went for brunch, had a great atmosphere, lively staff, and fast service. I have the chicken and waffles, not the best I have ever had but was very good. I got a taste of some pork belly, it was very good. I will have to try it next time I’m back. There were TVs throughout and music playing, but not too loud. The interior was left old industrial, but very clean with modern updates. The bloody marry wasn’t as good as I expected, they said they had fresh tomatoes and their own spices, just was hoping for better flavor. Over all, worth a stop

Love Poogan's Porch.... I was especially looking forward to Smokehouse..... Sorry, but I was disappointed. The appetizers were great. Best pimento cheese ever! The St Louis Ribs we're like beef jerky! I could only eat half of my Four Horseman sandwich and didn't take it with me! I cook Barbecue all the time, ribs, butts, and I was not impressed! Come on guys! Step it up a big notch! You should refund me for half of my meal. You can keep the good tip that I gave the waitress who SPILLED Cole slaw juice on our friends hair and back of her shirt!9

Omg this place y'all! The best BBQ I have EVER tasted! And I have lived in Dallas & Kansas City, this place topped all others. The pork belly was insane, as were the pulled pork & ribs. The mac n cheese was to die for and I made my husband take it away from me - so good! Also got the sweetest waiter named Jamie who gave us some great recommendations!
