They give you so much food for really cheap and the food is good. I've had both baked and fried versions of their fish and you really need to stick with salt and pepper fried for all non-flounder fish. I've never had catfish until Captain Steve's and their salt and pepper catfish is fantastic. Don't bother with their steaks or burgers. This is a fried fish camp. You'll get a ton of good tasting fish for cheap.

We had courteous wait staff. There was an issue with 1 piece of flounder on my husband's plate (no fully cooked) but it was resolved in minutes. The food was good and we had small plates but still more than we could eat. Brought home for later. We will definitely go back.

Awesome place for seafood. One of my favorites for sure. Big bowl of hush puppies when your seated and you’re on your way. Great menu, fast friendly servers. Highly recommend this place.

The best place for seafood platter in the area. Don't be intimidated by the long line it moves quickly. Also, don't fill up on the basket of hush puppies as the portion size is very generous. We deciding on size small platter is more than adequate.

Oh wow!!! This was my second visit to. Captain Steve’s and now I want to live there! I absolutely love, love, LOVE this restaurant! There was no long wait to be seated or served, the food was fresh & hot.... wait a minute...this isn’t Charleston!! How could an in-land restaurant have such great seafood? This seafood is certainly Lowcountry awesome! If you visit make sure to ask for Dustin (or as we called him—Blake Shelton), Dustin is very warm and a great server. Thank you Captain Steve for making these low country girls feel appreciated and thanks for the great food & service. Bye Dustin!! 💕
