My husband and I eat at Shortfields at least once a week. We sit in John's section (he's only there for lunch). It is hard to choose only one thing you'd like to eat. My favorites are the fish tacos, the Baja Burger and the Club. If you want a smaller bite try the Broccoli Cheddar soup. It has pieces of shrimp and is homemade. The lunch prices are reasonable and there's a great selection of draft beer on tap, as well as, bottled choices.

My boyfriend and I ate here a year ago and had a terrible experience. Today, we figured we'd give it another try. Worse experience than last time. The menu says They have brunch until 3pm. I ordered bananas foster French toast. 30 minutes later, they brought biscuits and gravy instead of French toast. 10 minutes later when we finally found our server again, she said it was her fault, that she read it wrong. And then let us know the kitchen has already dumped the rest of the batter at 2:15. So now I'm stuck with no food and no apologies about the mess up.

Nice place sit and watch the game at bar, or sit for a great meal. The fish and chips are great! The steak was cooked perfect. Staff did a great job. Parking is tight, but overall a fine restaurant in simpsonville. Appetizers, mixed drinks, steak, pasta.

We visited here because it is in our community and we had heard some good things about it. The environment was definitely not what I was expecting. The bar area was nicer than the seating area. It reminded me of the old Clock. I ordered chicken and waffles. We had to wait a while for our food. The chicken was straight from a Tyson's frozen bag. I couldn't even eat it. We sent it back. They offered something different, but by this time, I just wanted to go home. They took it off the check. Will we be back? Definitely not.

It was quite busy and loud at lunch time. Probably would go in the evening. The crab cakes were quite tasty but the chicken tender, apple and pear salad was not terribly interesting. Chicken was overcooked. Service was quite good.
