I'm literally in LOVE with Mezcal! Food, Service, Atmosphere, Music, EVERYTHING!! 100% RECOMMENDED! Mezcal is not the typical "Mexican" Restaurant, where you get a menu with 150 items.. Which is what I love!!!

I hate when people say, "oh, I live at (insert city) and this does not compare." With that being said, I am going to say almost the same thing. I do live here and I do live in CA, including living for years in San Francisco. Thus, I have eaten at numerous restaurants with tapas and small plates. Those restaurants that were successful using this format tended to have excellent service and fabulous food. This place did not. It just did not seem to be hitting on all cylinders. The food was okay but there was no wow factor. The same might be said about the service. It wasn't bad but there was definitely room for improvement.

Great environment, food and customer service. The experience was very welcoming and warm, this is the kind of place I'll take friends and family to for a good time.

Visited here on a Friday for lunch. Our server was very friendly and did a very good job serving us. Selection of food was OK and food was very good.

They did not bring to us the exact change. For example If you have to pay $10.15 and you pay with $20.00 the change that you recieve was only $9.00 with no coins, and they keep 1 dollar of tip. The place was clean with good music and good beers, but I personally don't recomend the place to any body because the tip you should give it optional.
