Very good food. Had to wait a while for a table. Owner opened a closed section of tables that would have seated several waiting, but only sat 3 Bank of Traveler's Rest employees in the section. Would not seat anyone else there. VIP section? Your guess is as good as mine. Made us wait longer because of this. Unsure when we will be back because of this. -Actually written by her husband-Scott

I went there for the first and last time with my Mother and my Aunt about 2 weeks ago. The service was awful. The waitress was not that friendly nor did she keep our water filled. The man at the checkout threw my debit card at me and then threw my receipt at me. He was every rude. The food quality was something that I can get anywhere else for a lower price and better service. My Mother and my Aunt had been there twice before and they experience the same kind of rude unfriendly serves from other waiters. We all 3 agreed, we’re not goin back. I have a friend who said she had the same experience when she went months ago and hasn’t been back.

Go-to breakfast place when my parents come to visit! They appreciate the old-fashioned diner experience — friendly service, fair prices. The food is good, made to order. Coffee is always fresh and refilled constantly at the table, wooo! During busy times, waits can be long but you can sit at the counter if there’s a free spot available... just take the spot. Sometimes people will cut in line, I guess they’re pretty hungry and can’t wait to eat! Overall, a gem in the Cherrydale area.

Homey place that had been here for years. A place where the wait person calls you "honey or "sweetie". The food is definitely not fast food and is cooked when you order it. Excellent place for "meat and three" or breakfast. People line up for breakfast on weekends due to the reasonably priced food.

Hometown favorite in Greenville. Old diner feel with fast and courteous service. Usually go for breakfast and haven't found a thing I didn't enjoy. Like to take my family when they're in town to share the experience.
