Not the best, but not the worst either. I only go when I have a craving for some soul food. The food is cooked with little to no seasoning, but that is for the clientele they serve. You can taste the differences of food on each shift. Lunch and dinner most certainly taste different. I would recommend this if you want a better choice than Golden Corral.

GREAT GREAT GREAT Southern cooking like Sunday potluck dinner after Church services. Peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, banana pudding...pork chop, fried chicken, meatloaf, mash potatoes, sweet potato, potato salad, GREAT veggies like okra/tomato, green beans, greens & corn & cornbread, homemade skins (?) & hash etc... Sunday dinner days may be gone in most places but you can still get a taste of Good old-fashioned, home cooked, Comfort/Soul food at Jackson's! Park in the back, get a table, grab a plate and DON'T give up your spot in the buffet line! They Give discounts to Seniors and Military, have kids meals, and take out options priced by the pound. They're worth Every bite! Highly recommended

I had lots of fun here. It's family oriented and definitely has southern hospitality. Especially the food, if you're feeling a home cook meal this is the place to go! The best part about it is that it's also a buffet so there isn't an end! To the picnic table cloths to the mason jars for cups and the open space, I believe it deserves 5 stars.

Soul food experience is to die for absolutely wonderful. I'm not a buffet type person but this food is amazing and the bar is CLEAN. food is replenished as fast as it gets low. The fried chicken collards BBQ and sweet potato pie was my favorite but everything was delicious. They have a menu that changes from day to day with staple daily items.. Staff is friendly. Smaller place so the reason for 4 stars not 5 would have to be attributed to parking.. One person restroom.. And the wait for seating. But still it's worth the wait for taste and quality of food. Great find I suggest all the way

I give Jackson’s five stars because they have great Southern food! The service was great as well. It is a buffet this is something I do not like. I never get my money’s worth at these kind of places. The selection of food was fantastic. I feel like that if you can’t find anything you want then you have a problem! Many different kinds of vegetables, meats(fried, baked, smoked). We were there on prime rib night and it was all you could eat! The dessert was lacking. I was disappointed in what they had but this the Only thing I found that really could be improved on.
