Food on the bar is "fresher" around high peak times of the day. We usually go after work, around 6:30 - 7 PM, and we have to order something cooked fresh from the menu, because most things on the bar are never fresh at that time. This restaurant is just not busy enough throughout the day to be able to keep items on the bar fresh. I can understand from a $$$ point of view that they simply cannot throw out multiple pans of food that are still almost full, but some of the pans sit there for so long that I honestly think they turn the bar temp down, to keep the food from majorly over cooking. This results in old food that is actually COLD - straight from the bar....and that is plain gross, putting it mildly. Makes me really miss CHINA TOWN !! Their bar was always fresh & delicious, no matter what time you arrived! 😉

I have ate here for years and was always happy with it. Cheap and fresh. Last time I went will stay the last time. Lady working the buffet blew her nose, wiped her sons nose with her hand and then handled the food trays on the bar. Didn't was her hands or anything. Then I found a hair in my food. That was just to much for me. I can't imagine what else they do and don't wash.

It is a very quiet place to eat. Never crowded. Food is good when first put out on buffet and it's hot. Depending on what time of day you visit as to whether it is hot or cold.

Food is always great, buffet is always fresh. The lo mein and entire size portions are massive for the price and the staff is very friendly. They even have a drive thru. Can’t speak highly enough of Peking.

Small, old restaurant with small buffet. With about half the restaurant occupied. Most of the bins on the buffet we're empty. Those bins that had food were not impressive at all. Dessert were in bins on an old cart down low...did not feel sanitary at all. Will definitely not be back!
