Friendly staff, down home cooking. Old Fort is a jewel in Cleveland. This is the kind of place where you get a meat and 2 veggies. But they have a lot more there. I've never been disappointed in any of the food I've gotten there.

Oh, I am ready for a nap now.. that was good, almost as good as mama makes. Highly recommend stopping here on the way to Chattanooga or Knoxville. Our waitress Joy was attentive and friendly. Yall come on by.

Good food at excellent prices. I ordered the same dinner that I had at the Cracker Barrel just down the street. This place was vastly superior. Portions were much larger and the price was better. The food was better as well.

It's a hot or miss. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes not so good. Same with the staff. Ordered the catfish dinner and they waited til after I got my food to tell me they were out of tarter sauce. I wouldn't have order fish if I had known that. They didn't offer to get me something else or make it right. The chicken livers are the best thing I've had there.

There are too many Cracker Barrels and not enough places like Old Fort. Locally owned and with great, down home comfort food. Places that are the real deal like this aren't quite as easy to find as they used to be. Eat here and support authentic country food and local business.
