I stumbled across this restaurant while in town for the night for work. So glad I did! Felt totally comfortable and welcome as a lone diner, asked for a recommendation between two dishes and was not disappointed. I've eaten quite a bit of Indian food and this ranked among the top. Especially the garlic naan hot from the stove. Yum! Great value for the amount of food you receive as well. I easily have enough leftovers for 2 more meals!

Absolutely the best Indian food around the Upper Cumberland. Cheap Dishes, Large Portions. I often have leftovers for lunch the next day! The little lady that runs the place is the heart of the restaurant; she's great. Authentic background, very welcoming as well. A must try for those new to Cookeville. Also, the lunch buffet everyday beats the Chinese buffets around here, hands down.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in town, the food is very authentic and everything on the menu is fantastic! Me and my girlfriend have been coming here for years and the service has always been spectacular and friendly. I definitely would recommend!

My wife and I love this place. The lunch buffet is fantastic. One of the reasons we keep going back is the owner. She reminds us of an old school grandmother.

Very good experience. My mom and I loved the food and the atmosphere a lot! I will definitely be going there again and can't wait to introduce my sister to the food.
