My mom is a Dentist in Dayton and I grew up there. Anytime I have to get my teeth cleaned I make sure to have lunch at the Dayton Coffee Shop. It is a local favorite and their home cooked meals are out of this world. They always have fresh home grown vegetables on the menu and specials daily.. Usually a meat and two veggies. I can't say enough about this place. I love it.

Great hometown cooking with a friendly southern charm atmosphere. The best kept secret for the residents of Dayton . Very under priced and desserts to die for. No credit cards accepted. Only cash or checks. View hrs or they me closed as hr are from Sunday to Friday . NOT OPEN ON SATURDAYS. HRS 10-2. DON'T FORGET THE UNANNOUNCED SPECIALS LIKE OPEN FACED ROAST BEEF ON BREAD, ROAST BEEF. POTATOES AND GRAVEY. THE FULL ORDER WILL be enough for 2 or a second menu for supper!! 😊😋

My grandmother made the best coconut pies. Their pie is so close to my grandmother's I feel like I'm almost back in her home. It is wonderful! The complete meal was wonderful.

Have been going for years and have never had bad food or a bad experience. I love this place, some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Will continue to give my business to the coffee shop.

Average food. This place could be great. I have visited this establishment on three different occasions and have found the entree to be Luke warm to cool on all three accounts. I prefer my meal to be hot. Three stars for that reason. They do offer great items and they have daily specials.
