My first visit was after an extended stay in Japan. I had just returned to the US for the third time, fresh off the boat and was kidnapped by my wife and taken here for brunch. The second time was when my parents came to Memphis and wetter going to have brunch at a Bob Evans. I put my foot down and briught them here so they could enjoy live jazz and a great southern brunch. The music was the right volume and the takes wetter not too close together do we could talk about the important things and not worry about being too loud or others overheating, etc.

Great New Orleans style food. Great friendly staff. The cocktails were outstanding as well. The oysters were very fresh. The gumbo also was very tasty.

Sunday Brunch,Where do I begin...we arrived early and were seated right away. The buffet was extensive .The place settings elegant. The atmosphere was upscale New Orleans. The food was Cajun with a little Memphis flavor .Delicious.The wait staff was on point ,friendly and attentive. The meal was wonderful. The problem came with the virgin bloody mary .It was packed with a little bacteria that comes from improper food temperatures. So to sum it up I spent 50. on an excellent meal drinks are extra .And chased it all down with a 5. bacteria cocktail and spent the rest of the day curled up in a ball in my bed with extreme stomach pain.Everyone worked so hard to make my visit pleasurable and one person dropped the ball. The "Bartender". please try to do better for your coworkers as their livelihood depends on it.

I must share how disappointing Owen Brennan has been for my family two times in a row. Their management has very poor skills to accommodate large parties in their private rooms. They apparently do not have the staff to properly prepare foods in a timely manner. Out first private room session, it took over 2 hours to get our our lunch after our order was taken. They reported they did not have enough chefs and their manager was out at a golf function. Our family decided to try them again in their private party room. It took 1 hour to get our food orders. It took 2.45 hours to get our dinner. The management informed us the restaurant became so busy all at once. They had one server for 25 people. We had a dinner party of 75. I would like to warn others this restaurant cannot accommodate parties and to plan on 4 hours to eat your dinner. Our families will not be returning to Owen Brennan ever again.

Food was beyond excellent! Great variety & excellent quality! Staff was pleasant and available. The ticket was high and I wasn't aware, lucky I had it is I might have been washing dishes! I would suggest for the cost that drinks should be included!
