Boyfriend wanted to check the place out, thought it was going to be good. Service was ok, seated fairly quick. But place was pretty dirty, food on the floor and everything. Ordered our food which looked good. But after taking a few bites already started to feel sick. I looked over at my boyfriends food to ask how his was, and noticed hair on his. Very disappointed.

Place had a bad reputation (woman passed out face down in salsa) but thought I'd try it after reading a few reviews. Looked quiet with seating available. Couple came out and said place was fine... If I liked to wait. Went inside and family of 4 had been waiting for 25 minutes! No staff could be seen and and elderly man looked annoyed by his servers lack of attention to his empty glass. Did NOT stay as the foyer smelled of dirty mop water.

This is my wife's favorite restaurant. We come here every time we come to rivergate area. The food is fine. The service so so. With a half empty restaurant it took 30 min, to be seated. It always seems to be like that. They don't appear busy, maybe under staffed.

We arrived with a party of 12 at 6:30 PM on a Thursday night. The dining area was mostly empty except for 3 tables of customers. The hostess said it we be a couple minutes as they prepped the tables - which were 15 ft. away in clear view (you can see most of the restaurant from the front door). Over the next 30 minutes, they slowly did so but the hostess never returned and we never got sat. At one point I realized there wasn’t a single staff member in site including at the bar. Also, no other customers came in. We ended up leaving extremely frustrated and no one to vent to - I guess the staff had better things to do. It was a bizarre experience and we won’t be back - way too many better options around.

Long established family restaurant, but the have a lively bar too. Food is good Tex Mex. Guacamole is great. So is the Chimichanga (sp?). I recommend.
