Emerald Thai serves delicious and authentic Thai food. The decor is not by any means impressive but the food makes up for it. This place has so many good menu items and I definitely suggest you visit soon.

Ordered a few different items on the list and they all were quite bad. Everything was way over cooked (chicken shriveled and dry, vegetables mushy), the Satay sauce was “off”. Food was edible but simply looked and tasted like old food that’s been reheated. I would not recommend this place for Thai food or food in general. To be fair, maybe the fact I ordered carry out may have had an influence on how bad it was. Price was average for the area and type of food. Irregardless, I how Emerald reads this and makes improvements as I love (good) authentic Thai food and there’s a huge benefit being one of few around in Memphis.

The pad thai was pretty good. The service was lacking though. We were seated, menus tossed on the table with plates and silverware and she went to the back booth and got on her phone. She came back to get our order and never once asked what we wanted to drink. We had to ask her if we could get something to drink then she brought it.

Food (red curry)was moderate. Worst customer service. She was arragent, I hate to go there again. Avoid this place if you want to keep your mood happy.
