Made an account here to voice my complaint. I eat here frequently and though the food is usually good there is a server who always seems to wait on us when she is there. I believe she said her name was Jessie. She is a heavy set woman. On one day This server was having a disgusting conversation with another server. She was sharing some details I don’t care to repeat here. On another day we watched our food sit in the window for what had to be 5 minutes while she was no where to be seen. Other then this one blemish I can say I’ve had no further issues with the place.

Wonderful country kitchen atmosphere. It felt like home. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was enough to share with another person, because the portions were huge. Most importantly, it was good. I loved the coleslaw. Not too sweet or too much vinegar.

It’s really a hit or miss with this place. But most of the time a miss. The sides are all terrible and straight out of a can. The fish is really good sometimes but really bad a lot of other times. The service is pretty mediocre most of the time. But the ham is usually pretty good

My wife and I love the fried fish. This restaurant is a staple of Vonore and you have to try it at least once.

Handd down, this place has the best catfish I've ever eaten... We got the all you can eat catfish, chicken, fries, hush puppies and slaw special for $10.99 and it was Great. It was clean, the people were friendly and the food was prompt and hot any time anything additional was wanted. I would definitely recommend trying this place.
