The Grind is the newest restaurant in Martin. This establishment reminds me of something you find in East Nashville, very cool and fun decor. The waitress are prompt and attentive to the customers. The Grind is often busy, which discourages many from coming more often. The lack of take is one of two complaints I have for the Grind. Because the restaurant is constantly busy, it is nearly impossible to be seated, eat, and leave within a decent time. Take out would be excellent but after several calls over the past few months The Grind still does not have take out. During one phone call, the waitress was short and seemed annoyed that I asked. Maybe during the summer an efficient take out system could be put into place for the kitchen. Lastly, while at the table you might wait a while for you food. I recently went during a slower time and half (2 people) of our table received their food and roughly 6-7 minutes later the other half (3 people) received their food. By no way where these difficult dishes (mac and cheese without any special instructions). I look forward to the restaurant's future and hopefully getting a seat within a decent time.

Good food. A very busy place. Wait times anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. They need a new building. Very clean on the inside. The food done perfectly and you do get decent portions. The price wise it's a little high. Food taste is very very good the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the wait time. I would recommend this restaurant.

This place is GREAT! Burgers are really good, lots to choose from.. They have a well thought selection of beers. Awesome, staff my little girl made instant friends with one of the girls. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well.

First time but not going to be my last. Food and service was great! Claudia was our waitress and she was super nice and went way beyond to make sure everything was good. I thought we'd have a long wait but we didn't have to wait at all (Sunday afternoon). Highly recommend

The Grind offers up some great food and shakes. I like the tacos, which come filled with spicy beef in a crunchy shell. For an appetizer, the best is the fried pickles, which come with a buffalo ranch sauce (but I still prefer normal ranch). Regarding those milkshakes, my favorite is the churro, which has the right balance of sugar and cinnamon. Going to the Grind is always a great experience, and I definitely recommend you go during lunch, because dinner is super crowded.
