$$$ a little high but well worth. Great service and good food.

Every time I go to the Station House I vow it will be my last time.... Because of the waitresses. In particular an older blonde who is there in the mornings. She acts as if it is a great effort to wait on us and that we are an inconvenience. Evidently they serve breakfast until 10:30 AM. On one occasion we arrived around 10: 15. Without even asking how we were she begrudgingly informed us they were out of biscuits. No problem... We ordered toast which was fine. Saturday before last we had a friend and her 3 children in from Nashville. Again, we walked in, seated ourselves and the same tired and unhappy looking waitress came to greet us... Except... She never does... Nor does she ever introduce herself. Perhaps she thinks everyone knows her. This time it was between 9: 30 AM and 9: 45 AM. Guess what? They were running low on biscuits and didn't have any waffles. Again... No problem... I prefer white toast! Boy she is a negative Nellie!!!The food isn't necessarily bad. It is much like your mama cooked if you are from this area. I just don't like going to this restaurant and won't again. I truly feel like I'm inconveniencing this waitress. I almost apologized for coming in for breakfast. And... SMILE for heavens sake! Even if you hate your job, your feet and back hurt, you hate your husband, you fought with your daughter... Don't bring it to work! Just smile and be pleasant!! So... I won't be going back again. I'd rather make the journey to Murray to Cracker Barrel where the food is good, I get a smile from the wait staff.... And I don't feel like a burden!
