The food was good as usual, but it seems like when u get it to go all the rules change. Your not allowed to prepare your own food at the salad bar, the price is different every time you get to go, and to be charged for every individual item is pretty extreme. Surely you have a better system than that. No, I'm talking about Texas de Brazil and I was charged for each individual item just because I got it to go. Is that correct?

We came to Memphis for vacation and checked for good places to eat and this came up in our search. We didn't make a reservation but came in as soon as they opened and they were able to seat us almost immediately. The service was great and most of all THE FOOD! This was by far the greatest dining experience I've had to date. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or otherwise in the area.

This may be the 1st location in the US, but is not on par with other cities. Been to Dallas and Louisville and the garden bar had much higher quality items. Meat had better flavor, and service was much better. I like my meat rare, the servers seemed almost offended I wouldn't take what they had. One actually cut off a slice, said "Medium rare..." and just dropped it on my plate and walked off. The management was just standing around just trying to make themselves look important, not helping in the fully booked restaurant. Out actual waitress was wonderful (the only reason I'm giving 3 stars) and we did talk to a manager. He did what he could to make it right at the time, and told us to call him directly for our next reservation. Amazingly after we had words with the manager and explained they are not on par with their other locations, they all became busy helping out. I will go back and give them a 2nd chance in the future, but as of now it feels like they know they are the oldest US location and are not interested in being the best location as well. Sad to see pride lost.

This place is definitely for carnivores!! Several different cuts of meat from which to choose! Not enough sides in my opinion! What they do offer is pretty good though and they offer lots of it! Our server and the hostess were both very friendly and attentive!! We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday!! It was her first visit! We all had a great time!

I brought my family here for the first time and boyyyyy did they love it! It was quite humorous when my family forgot to flip their card to red and the meat kept coming! The food was great! Our bartender was great! We were able to reserve a table and was able to be seated shortly after our arrival.
