First, this is a high-end steak house, but don't let the prices scare you from going (steakhouse is on the second floor). The service is excellent and well worth the price of a steak. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable and gave meal suggestions without being pushy. The mixed drinks are wonderful, and the stafg was on point with keep our water glasses full. They even have some 23-year aged bourbon that is very rare, but again, well worth the price. The atmosphere is classic yet modern. If you want a great steak in Nashville, I would recommend Merchants.

Food was great. Had French Dip Sandwich. Service was great. The waiter was quick and very attentive. Atmosphere was quaint. Will definitely visit again.

Awesome place! Our server Tammi was SO nice! Her suggestions for drinks and food were perfect. It was my wife's birthday, and she even gave us candles and a lighter for a piece of cake that we got to have later that night in our hotel room. Just a fantastic experience!

Was in town for three nights. Ended up at Merchants two of the nights . The food was fantastic, had the Teres Major and it was fantastic. However, what set this place above everywhere else was the exceptional service. When I came in the second time I had the same server, Emily. She remembered what my drink was, my name and how I like my steak done. Made me feel like a "regular" . When I come back, Merchants will be the first place I come to.

Stopped in out of the blue when going through Nashville with friends. Waited only 5-10 minutes for a table and the food was beyond amazing. Highly recommended. They asked us if we could move tables to accommodate another larger party and then gave us free appetizers to thank us. Good came quickly and zero issues. I’d come back a thousand times. If your thinking of stopping in, stop thinking and do it.
