This is a great place to sit, relax and enjoy a great meal. Breakfast anytime too. Christine and Betty are friendly, efficient ladies that make you comfortable and treat you as their personal guests. The food is constantly good as is the service. I live close by and their place is busy through out the day... Picture is of Christine, Micah (owner) and Betty 😊

I had a party of 5 after services on Sunday morning. We found this place to have wonderful service and excellent food. Our waitress was a doll. She was very friendly and checked on us many times to make sure all needs were met. She even joined into the conversation at times. Very sweet girl The host was very friendly too. Overall this is a great place to eat. I will for sure be back again. So check out Scotties in Soddy and ask to have Gabrielle as your server. Great place great food great service. A+

Great food, comfortable atmosphere, OUTSTANDING STAFF went far above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Kind of a 50s malt shop decor, this was comfortable and inviting, the kind of place you'd love to hang out with your friends, or even throw a party. Somebody who knows diners put this place together with efficiency, good flow, and common sense. You gotta try it!

We had a party of 15, and waited for over an hour for our food. Which generally, we would not have been upset over this if the manager had not been so rude to us. Not one time did our server come over and apologize for the wait (we understand it's out of their control but still), and not one time did the manager come over and apologize or even ask if there was anything they could do. Someone in our party had to go find him and told him the problem, and not once did he apologize for the wait. The manager was so rude and he told us to leave and go eat at another restaurant. We walked out to the parking lot and he followed. He told us that our food was ready and now they were going to throw it away and continued to say how "church people were the worst" and he only has this problem with people like us on Sundays. Then he mocked us by saying "how about you pray about that." Not a single person in our party would have tipped less than 20% because we understand that it wasn't the servers fault. He acted like we were being rude and snobby when honestly we were nothing but patient until he got rude with a lady from our party. I just couldn't believe how a manager could talk that way to any costumers. I wouldn't suggest that anyone eat here after how rude we were treated by the owner "Scottie"himself.
