I swear, this place hadn't seen as much fun before we rolled in the other night - I promise that! Their main focus is wine - but I bet you could have guessed that by their name, duh. However, they do have a couple of bottled beers available for those of us who are not wine dudes. I stuck to the beer but did get a few sips of a couple of different wines and they were all pretty good. And they have a decent selection of food. I tried the chicken pesto pizza. It was on a thin crust with sun dried tomatoes, chicken breast, and the usual tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. I also sampled the meatballs. These were REALLY good. I'm not sure, but I think they were a mix of beef and pork and I know there was mozzarella, marinara, and basil mixed in. The pizza and the meatballs were REALLY good and there are a lot of other items to choose from on their menu, so check them out. This place seats about 30-40 people and is a quaint little place for a romantic date. Great table service and fun servers - Cam was our server and he was awesome for putting up with our silliness. And he served attitude right back at us - in a fun way of course. They also have a nice patio for those early summer nights before it gets too hot in SA Town. 12-ounce bottle of shiner bock is $6 Pro tip: the back door facing highway 281 looks like it might be an entrance, but the REAL entrance is facing the theater side. Don't embarrass yourself like I did LOL!

Really great service, 4.5 stars over all. My only complaint is the venison tasted kind of bland compared to what I'm used to, but I'd guess it just wasn't wild, or maybe Michigan deer just taste better. However, the sauce and everything on the plate was delicious overall. I can't stress how friendly the staff was, exceptional service.

Took my wife there for her birthday dinner and we agreed 20nine is one our top 3 restaurants in San Antonio. The consistency for great food, superior service & atmosphere is always a guarantee. Oh and the wine selection for enjoying with your meal or retail (take home) is extraordinary. Our server, Keith, was incredibly knowledgeable on the perfect bottle to accompany our multi-course meal. Only complaint is we wish it was closer to Dominion, so we could go more frequently.
