I loved this place. Ate alone at the bar and had great service. Really enjoyed watching the chefs cooking both over an open log fire and a wood fired oven (hence Red Ash!) I had lamb to die for and a delicious cocktail + a glass of Barbera. Worth a visit if you are in downtown Austin!!

Our server Justin took great care of us. Great wine recommendation, great food recommendations, attentive warm service. Trendy ambiance. Oscar the GM and his team have great things going on here. The octopus was gangbusters good!

Always so good. Great HH, pasta and red meat rivals anything in Austin. Wild bore pasta dish is just perfect. Rich, garlicky and still subtle. Homemade donuts are a nice treat to close out.

Great happy hour deals and wonderful selection of pasta and wine. I didn't have anything with wood fired meat, as is their specialty, but the pasta was tasty and creative. The space is roomy and welcoming and feels more casual than uptight. My only complaint was, as tasty as our dishes were, I would say the cook went heavy on the oil, and the food felt very, very heavy. I will certainly return again to try something different, and it's absolutely worth going to.

Could not have been happier with dinner last night. Impeccable food and service, start to finish. And get the garlic bread!
