I really want to give this place 5 stars but the service is what tainted our experience. The atmosphere was so fun, they had Marilyn Monroe singing live and she was great. The food was delicious and plenty of it. I love the family style serving so everyone gets to try everything. But where it was lacking was our waitress from the moment we sat down, it must have been 10 by the time she finally made her way to take our drink order. We went ahead and ordered to save time but that didn't seem to matter she was MIA all other times, never refilled our drinks, our food took forever to come out. There were people who who after us, ate and left before us. Don't get me wrong we were enjoying ourselves but it we were hungry and ready to go. We'll be back and hopefully the service will be better.

While the decor is pretty cool and old school, the service was anything reflective of 1950s hospitality. Every waitress seemed to want to be anywhere else but there. My husband and 2 children got burgers which were comparable to a signature Crafted from McDonald's. I got the chopped steak smothered with onions and mushrooms. It was so dry I didn't even eat it. The toppings were barely cooked and the patty nor the toppings had any type of seasoning. The mashed potatoes were so thin and watery I could have drank them with a straw. The fried okra was fried to death. They were literally black and charred. Very disappointed in the food and service. Maybe things are better there at night. We went on a Saturday late afternoon.

Amazing place!! The food is amazing. We had the chicken fried steak with Jalapeno Gravy. We tried an array of their desert menu. Owner is a fantastic guy who is very friendly. Def a must place to eat when in Waco!

Very nice atmosphere, good service, food is very good, friendly staff, easy to get to & park. Would go 5 stars except the dinner hour is family-style only. Should have the option for a burger plate then, as well as for lunch. I have only eaten there for lunch so this review is for burgers....

Live music, great food portions and family-friendly fun atmosphere. Love it! Limited menu choices but everything tastes great. Nice outside area to enjoy the live music as well. Great place!
