Not world class bbq but always dependably good. Lots of vegetable options. Homemade bread and cornbread, regular or jalapeno. Lots of room. Last time we were there on a Friday night they had a band playing.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this place. I loved the food & it was filling. Nice people and great prices. Great cozy, comfy spot to cool off and chow down with your family.

Everything here was excellent! Not only the main meat dishes but all the sides were exquisite. The potato salad was better than my wife's! But don't tell her. The brisket is some of the best I've ever tasted and the barbecue sauce is one of my favorites in the entire state. I'll tell you what!

J. Cody's is an above-average Steakhouse. Just like most restaurants the food can be inconsistent between visits. I still love their jalapeno creamed corn, and also their jalapeno cornbread. Definitely worth a visit.

Awesome BBQ but my favorite thing there is the creamed corn! Had the smoked turkey there and want disappointed. Lots of seating and easy access parking. They also offer smoked meats from the day prior at a significant discount. On a side note, they do serve sweet and unsweetened tea.
