The very BEST restaurant in Dallas, bar none. From atmosphere to Service and Cuisine no match, although I did prefer the older Fresco decor before remodeling. Supposedly this new motif is more like the original 1912 Original French Room.

Great for celebrating any type of special events---more specifically anniversaries. Greeted and well treated. Everyone had great knowledge of what their roles were, such as the cool bar tender/chemist who made our drinks right at the table with an interesting twist to it. Servers and others, constantly checking in on us was a plus. Did I mention, they personally print out your menu for your visit? Really neat and felt very special. 7-course meal was fun, getting to taste all sorts of rare ingredients in the culinary world. Overall, was happy a customer. Totally recommend you to try it out.

They wine selection was good, but the portions were small. I had to send back my order twice because they forgot the main food on the plate! Appetizers are small, the Pheasant was terrible because of its cold meat and stuffing. The breading attached to the pheasant (that was made with black like pistachios), tasted like grind up metals. Overall, the main courses were amazing and the desserts and coffee were great. Would recommend for mature audiences only.

If you haven't been to the French Room, you should go. The tasting menu is the best way to experience it. Be prepared for a few hours of incredible food. Probably one of the most memorable dining experiences we'll ever have!

Service and wine selection was very good. Atmosphere is old world with modern background music, should be classic piano music. Also, too dark, needed phone flashlight to read wine list and menu. Menu is a problem. You had better like the 7 course menu, because they don't like to substitute. Also, one course was horrible. Need a better alcarte menu. Not special, won't make a effort to go back.
