Upon entry I noticed that the restaurant is kept very clean. The outside as well looks very well kept, considering they are off the highway. The gentleman that seated us was very polite. We ordered the chips and salsa from the starters. The chips are not salty and the salsa is mildly spicy. I ordered the guacamole and it was not traditional, but good none the less. My daughter had the burger from the child's menu, and she noted that it was better than the Chili's kid burger. The brownie sundae is large enough for 2 people. Melissa, our server was very attentive. We we told that after the new owners took over, the wait staff didn't change much. Check out the online menu, as of today, it's different than the one in the restaurant.

2 strikes your out! My husband talked me into trying Maverick’s again. We both ordered County Fried Steak because the first time my husband loved it. He ordered the Maverick and it was a plate of breading, not even half had meat. My dinner was burned. The only nice thing about dinner was the waitress and the owner comped the meal. We will not be back!

New owner is nice. I believe she might have been a waitress there before she bought it. Food is still very good. Service has always been good. Kids love it wife loves it so me (dad) is happy.

The food was good. We waiting 45 minutes for our take out when we were told it would be 25 minutes. When we asked to speak with a manager we got a rude reply. I then called to speak with a manager and got nothing buy attitude and huffing and puffing. This is so unprofessional. Very unhappy with the service. Was told the owner would call us later that day and never received a call. My grandma went a few weeks ago and her food was burnt and unbeatable.

A first time for me, but definitely not my last. Food was great. Service was a bit slow but in fairness we had 14 people in our party. Great job.
