Very welcoming place with decent food, I would give them 5 Stars if the food was as expected, however they seem to have their own versions of classic Mexican favorite dishes that although the ingredients are of high quality the final results are not what you have eaten before at other Mexican restaurants. We will be back, but we will try other dishes to see if the issue was our choices or if the whole menu is non standard. Don't get me wrong the food was tasty and the service was very friendly and attentive.

Madres Cocina is a cozy strip mall mom-and-pop establishment. We went for lunch and were promptly seated. The general dining are was neat and clean. You do have to pass through utility areas to get to restrooms. The service was prompt and attentive. We never lacked for anything. The chips and salsa were pretty good, as was their white queso. The food in general was pretty decent and the lunch menu a good value. I would have liked a little more kick to the seasonings, but I love spicey.

Friendly and attentive staff. Ordered the beef tacos al carbon and it tasted great, but was overcooked and chewy. Rice, salsa, and queso were good, but sopapilla wasn't the best. All in all I would recommend.
