The food is exceptional, if somewhat pricey. I experienced prompt and professional service and attentiveness to my needs. The portions are sized just right so that they're filling but not overwhelming. The ambiance is just right and the bartender even anticipated my need for another drink before I even got the chance to ask for it. It's a great little place I'll definitely drop by next time I'm in Fredericksburg

Just turned up and only had to wait 5 minutes for a seat at the bar. Had a nice salad followed by the pork shank which is the best pork I've had since Oktoberfest in Munich, then a delicious chocolate dessert. Wine and beer very good too. Highly recommended.

Very good. We cancelled reservations at crossroads and went here. Great decision. Good place to spend an anniversary as my wife and I did. I had the pork knuckle... Excellent. My wife had the duck something... It was phenomenal.

This is more of a place to be seen then a place to eat. The website said no reservations so we arrived and were told 30 min. So went Next-door to the owners shop. We got to meet the owners mother who was an amazing woman and bough $120 worth of wine and meat. We made our way back an hour later and still no table. We were offered a spot at the bar when we said no we were pushed to the back of the line. After watching 3 other couples be sat and an hour and a half latter I said screw this.. This is a place to be seen not a place to eat. The owners mother was amazingly sweet but I would never go back here. There are many other places in town that are just as good!

Wow. Who knew Fredericksburg had fine dining? Otto's is the real deal. We especially loved the Wurst plate, the door head (with bacon marmalade) and the bread plate (with beet jam). For drinks. Try the Vesper. Otto's is in an old house and has a charming atmosphere. We really liked it.
