I give Rivera's a 3 star because that is just what it is. Employees did not do anything to make me feel any different from when I walked in. No greetings. Also, I ran out of salsa and had a bunch of chips remaining. No one offered to refill or made themselves available for me to ask for a refill. The food is good, however. The portions were large and I appriciate that. I would come back again to get a second opinion, but for now, I'm going to keep my friends and family away. Mediocre.

Has very cultural diverse Salvadorian food but if not in for limited choices then would not recommend.

Stopped here while in Galveston. The salsa was so bad and it was the only salsa option they had. They didn’t give us any utensils or napkins, we had to ask for them. The girl who dropped off our food didn’t even ask if we needed anything else, just walked away. I had a quesadilla that was pretty good, the beef, cheese and tortilla were good but the accompanying guac didn’t look fresh. My boyfriend had beef tacos and again, the meat and tortillas were solid but the cilantro and onion they gave him looked old. Plus they didn’t have other salsa so he had to eat them dry.... We both had horchatas to drink. I believe they may make it from scratch in house. It was pretty good. Don’t think we’ll go back. Only one of the waitresses was friendly but the rest were barely doing their job.
