Tumbleweed restaurant has a rustic Vibe with the Horseshoes & Texas Stars hanging on the walls. It gives me a nice cozy warm feeling. The place is clean and in order. I always get a bowl of tasty satisfying chili. It should be an award-winning chili. I ordered the chicken breast with sauteed onions, mashed potatoes and green beans. Oh yeah, the dinner rolls are delightful. The sides were nicely seasoned but the grilled chicken breast was overcooked and a bit on the charred side. Tammy offered to replace my meal and apologized profusely. The staff is very friendly.

Ordered 8 oz ribeye for $18.99, it appears like they took a average size steak and cut it 3 times. It was so thin that they couldn’t get it pink. The okra was cold and rubbery, the fried squash was fried together in 1 big clump and the chicken fried steak was burnt. And don’t get me started on the watered down tea! How is this place still open! A restaurant shouldn’t put out food like that. It’s so sad.

Going down hill fast closing earlier and earlier. Tonight’s steak had no seasoning was over cooked and the cup had food stuck to the inside of it. Last visit for me. Was a great place for the first 6 months.

Depends on what day you go. Sometimes the food is fantastic, other times not worth eating. Not sure what changed here, but something did. Use to be our favorite place to go.
