Not your typical resort. No check in or checkout desk. . I checked in at the bar. Wonderful atmosphere in restaurant/bar. Rented a single bed cabin. It was attached to 2 other cabins (shared a porch) but that wasn't an issue. Cabin was very clean but bathroom is tiny and contains the only sink in the room. Blackout curtains would be a huge plus because the mini blinds allowed the parking lot lights to illuminate the room. Again, these are just minor things. They apparently have a water park which isn't open yet, and they are building an awesome castle for events. Too cool to enjoy the pool that was right beside our cabin. We would like to return in warmer weather.

I gave this place 3 tries and when 3/ are horrible I'm done. Last visit I ordered fried chicken and they brought chicken strips. I pointed it out and the server admitted fault and went to have my order corrected. 30 min go by and he brings my chicken which was disgusting...it tasted like it had been frozen so they defrosted in microwave, no marinating, no seasoning just put some kind of batter and cooked it. I understand that we came in about 20 til closing but they could have told us that they weren't prepared to fill my order. The prices are ridiculous. $95 for family of 5 eating burgers and chicken...i don't think so! If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is my go to place on Thursday night. They have $1.00 draft for the females. The place is not crowded .I highly enjoy the food and the presentation. The food is always fresh and you get large portions. The atmosphere, decor, and setting is appropriate. The establishment is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Unique restaurant. Taxidermy everywhere, any type of animals you can think of stuffed and hanging for all to see. Great food. Good service.

Met up with some of the kids and their kids. I showed up first and with the help of Richard got a big enough table for all of us made him aware we were riding the train st 7. He made sure all our food came out together (even though we all showed up at different times) with plenty of time to get checks paid and make the train ride. Food was good large portions not the cheapest but about what I expected. The train is awesome all the grandkids loved it. We’re planning a summer trip out there already.
