Small Cafe with decent food but more expensive than your average cafe. We ordered the farmhouse trio - appetizer, entree, and dessert which alone could be enough to share (we did $2 upcharge for large portion). The rolls are good; cornbread had broccoli added which was unique. I would skip the fried avocado - it was very bland. The chicken fried steak was nothing fancy, but the gravy was good. The pie was good, but way too sweet.

Excellent Chicken fried steak! The even bring out a little basket of bread to snack on until your food promptly arrives. Great service. Usually crowded.

Middle of the road Diner experience wasn't Blown Away by the food for a small town I guess it's okay the pies and the rolls and broccoli cornbread are spectacular. The service was very good it's an older place but overall the experience was good. I ordered the small chicken fried steak it was $10 and for the portions which came with a side of canned greens and some typical frozen french fries I felt it was a little bit more over price point for $10. Well I go back? of course Their prices are very close to Cracker Barrel territory. No harm no foul.

Huntsville's Favorite Restaurant This place is doing good business just about every day. Chicken Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak are favorites. The hamburgers are great. My daughter likes the tortilla soup. My wife likes the broccoli cornbread.

They brag about this being southern comfort food, but with the Average meal around $15.00 plus, with soft drink and desert... and the amount of flour and grease oozing on your plate, the only comfort comes when the projectile purge begins! Chicken fried steak is a Texas tradition, and yes they have it in two sizes, $9.95 for small $12.95 for large. Not bad you say? Well you would be right if there was steak inside the flour... there is the hint, that meat was there only it had been beaten it oblivion. The key word here is Bland!!!
