Popular place with delicious fried chicken. Verbal menu only, so be careful 1st timers. Everyone at the table has to order. Pick a meat or say vegetables. Each meat serves 4 pieces. Our table of 5 all wanted to try the chicken, we almost ordered 20 pieces. 2 chicken & 3 veggies gets you 8 pieces & all the salad, biscuits, corn, mashed potatoes, & gravy you can handle. Past the confusion, we would definitely be back! Very attentive staff.

The menu is short and sweet. You choose between (I think) four meats, being chicken fried steak, fried chicken, roasted chicken, and chicken tenders. You then get all the biscuits, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans you can eat. My personal favorite is the chicken fried steak. Prepare to be stuffed by time you leave! Great food and a great atmosphere! My only complaint is there aren't any in Oklahoma. They should work on that. :-)

There's only two things to order: chicken fried steak or fried chicken. They serve everything family style and they have salad(but it's really ice Berg lettuce with some sort of white vinegrette), corn, mashed potatoes, and biscuits for sides. It's good if you like fried food but it's definitely not allergy friendly. The atmosphere is good and the staff are really friendly and accommodating.

Love Babes fried chicken! I had the chance to stop in to the first Babes location ever opened in beautiful downtown Roanoke. Dining room is a little smaller than others I go to, but just as comfortable and charming. Service was top notch of course, as it is at other locations I've been to. Only one negitve was no green beans at this location like you get in Frisco or Garland. I do love those beans! Other than that and the 10 dollar jar of honey we bought and left sitting on the register counter... it was a great dinner indeed.

Great place for fried chicken, never disappoints. Only two choices on the menu, fried chicken (with bones) and chicken fried steak (that's beef of course). Both are served family style with house salad, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, and biscuits. It gets very crowded on the weekends at peak hours. Come early
