We stayed the weekend in this town and ate breakfast at both Joe's and Orsaks. We liked the hash browns at Joe's better. lso, the chocolate chip pancakes the kids got were really good (we might have had a few bites). Biscuits were fluffy, omelette was really good, coffee came with real cream, which was a treat.

First, the wait staff were great, 4 stars. As a bar this place is probably a high 3 to low 4 stars country watering hole. As a restaurant, it’s hard to give it even 1 star. Lots of beers on tap and reasonably priced. But he food was pretty bad. We had the Gouda burger. The bun was saturated in grease and it sat so long is was soggy and completely disgusting. The burger was coated in cheap garlic salt. The dehydrated Sam’s Club stuff usually sprinkled outside to keep the roaches away. We didn’t finish either burger and a good thing we didn’t. We were both sick for 2 days from amount of that nastiness coating the patty. The sweet potato fries and onion rings were of the frozen prepackaged variety and were the best thing on the plate. Hopefully that should explain just how bad the burger was. Would I go back, sure for a beer. But I will never swallow another bite of what they serve and call food.

Burger was charcoal burned on outside and raw on inside. Fries were cooked..... err warmed in grease leaving them soggy. Another table sent something back to the kitchen. Maybe burgers are not Joe's specialty.
