this is the happening place in downtown lake Jackson. Great beer selection. Atmosphere is top notch. Great service. Food is great. Always a crowd there so go early if you are hungry and can't wait.

This place is solid 4.5 Kristin makes it a 10! But alas I can only give 5 stars. So on my second time back, I will change my review for the better. This place is a solid 5.0 and of course the staff (especially Kristin) again makes it a 10. I dont know how they make their in house cheese sauce but it is from heaven. The Reuben was amazing and the Mac N Cheese is out of this world! Tonight was super busy and I never waited for anything. Top notch staff and top notch food. Oh, and if you like beer they have plenty of choices (like 100 or more maybe) and the staff actually knows them all. Very impressed

Got the 22 oz rib eye. Oh my Good God IT'S CANDY IN YOUR MOUTH!!!!! it isn't cheap $42 bucks but totally worth it. I am a meat eater. I love a great steak I have had them from every chain place and this was amazing beats them hands down no question about it. Beats taste of Texas. Beats saltgrass. My wife had the roast beef and cheddar sandwich and German fries was amazing. For dessert yes I said dessert I was hungry we had ( I mean me) chocolate explosion cake. It was chocolate mousse and bites of cheesecake with a sponge chocolate cake crust 2 people 80 bucks but if do it again in a second.

It was ok. Service was excellent, food was overpriced. I had a small steak salad. For $12.99, I expected more greens. I Do appreciate no red cabbage tossed into a Spring mix. Why do restaurants do that? Dining area was a bar. Not conducive to a nice meal.

Good food, great staff, wonderful outside patio and events. When someone asks, I tell them that this is the place to get steaks in lj. Yet, I have to award three out of five just because the smoking areas and nonsmoking areas outside are not marked. If you do not smoke, this is an issue, so a sign indicating which is which would make a simple but big difference. (The front is nonsmoking, and the side is smoking,) I will change this to five if they address it.
