Highly recommend Cafe Blue food, cocktails, and especially their catering/events team! We recently had a cocktail hour at Cafe Blue in their back room to host about 50-60 guests coming in-and-out. Jean was absolutely a pleasure to work with coordinating the event, helped us figure out appetizer menus, how to set up the room, coordinated with us dropping off decor ahead of time, even offered to put a fake fireplace on the tv in the room to make it feel cozy :) If you’re having an event in the area, we HIGHLY recommend working with Cafe Blue and you’ll be very lucky to work with Jean!! Thank you Jean & team for hosting an amazing cocktail hour for us and showing all of our out-of-state guests what TX hospitality is like!

Wow! never been this disappointed in a restaurant in forever. Always go out to celebrate special occasions at a high end place. The only thing high end was the price for what you poor food received. The oysters were good but $50 a dozen.. not that good. Luckily they only had to be shucked and not cooked. Crab stuffing was stuffing with little to no crab. Fish was not fresh and the Steak was mediocre. I could recommend many other top notch places in the same price range that would get a 5 star. No names as to not get this review bumped. What made it really weird was a woman walking around with a tablet hovering over tables making notes and appeared to be listening in on our conversation. I am amazed that some people gave this place 5 stars.

I could have gone to Denny’s and got better food and service. Ordered steak Benedict - the meat was well done and the poached eggs were soft-boiled. My wife’s omelette was cold.

Had a fabulous jumbo shrimp cocktail (half-priced since it was Monday night) followed by scrumptious blue crab cakes. The restaurant was filled but our service was still outstanding. 5 giant stars all around...Thanks Cafe Blue!
