Update 2018: They used to have a variety of craft beer, but maybe there wasn't much of a demand for it. Now it's pretty much "the usual" beers plus maybe a Saint Arnold seasonal or a Karbach choice. Aside from the drop off in their beer selection the rest of my review remains the same. So far, this is my favorite place in Livingston. It has a unique atmosphere that is very welcoming. I'm pretty sure it has the most extensive beer menu in all of Livingston and the surrounding areas (at least for a restaurant). The food is absolutely top notch. You won't find another menu like it in the area. You can be comfortable showing up dressed up or dressed down.

Had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful atmosphere. Full bar. Few draft beer but do have 1 local craft selections. I’d love to try their dinner menu!

This place is a true gem of a find. Not easy to spot given its location is inside a historic landmark building. But it is a cozy, beautiful place with an inviting atmosphere created by a brilliant design. The wait staff is always cordial and happy to assist you and yet well trained to give you your space so you can enjoy your company and your meal without an overbearing staff presence around you. The kitchen doles out decent food at a decent pace. The bar is well stocked and the lighting gives this place a well heightened ambience. Its a surprise that this restaurant is not busier that it usually is. The menu is small and simple. The food is always well prepared and fresh. I wish there was a way to make more people aware of its existance so the locals and tourists alike can shore up the patronage and support this place needs and deserves. I definately recommend The Blue Duck and look forward to dining there again.

Pricey. Lunch menu is half the size of the dinner menu. Good food and attentive staff.
