The service was good but the food was mediocre at best. Tried to eat there several times and I haven't had anything that I can say met my expectations. There are others that like the food and that is good for them. I most likely won't return. But I wish them well.

Being a retired Chef and Chef instructor I can say I've had five star Mexican food and one star and worse. El Patrons Grill serves the best Mexican food in Livingston. The service is always top notch and the food is spot on. Their prices are very reasonable and even cheaper than some of the lesser quality Mexican restaurants in town. Their salsas are very good and not even close to the water downed tomato sauce you will find at other Mexican restaurants in town. You are giving two kinds of salsas when you sit down. One red and one green. Both are very good. If you're hungry I highly recommend the Vaquero plate. You get two enchiladas, cheese, beef, or chicken, a crispy taco, a beautiful red tortilla chip cup filled with chili con queso, rice and beans. Everything comes to the table almost too hot to eat. You can also order tortillas on the side, flour or corn, for dipping and scooping which also comes out almost too hot to handle. I highly recommend this place if you like really good Mexican food. You won't be disappointed.

Let's start with the chips and WARM salsa! And it got better as the meal progresses. Food great...staff friendly...and we ate outside on a beautiful spring day! Priceless.

Our food and drinks were really good. Service was friendly, the place seemed pretty clean. LOVE that there is parking right out front for veterans, active duty, police, and firefighters 👏🏽 We’ll definitely eat here again.

Prices were great. Service was good. Food was pretty good. I’ve had better, but at a much higher price. Beef Fajitas were only 10.99. Will come again next time I’m in the area.
