Toscafino is a very nice restaurant, with excellent service. The ambience with the life music and lighting gives you a romantic, and elegant feeling. The food is very tasty, well prepared. The only thing I was not too happy with is the price we paid for the 42 oz stake for $75. I wasn't happy because it was not all stake, those 42 oz included a humongous bone that when we saw it we felt like the Flintstones!!!! The meat was just enough for one person maybe 2. when you see it at first you think is a lot, but in reality on one side there are some mushrooms, and cooked zucchini, and on the other side of the bone is the meat but a lot of it is fat. The taste was very good, but definitely not worth the $75. All the dishes are expensive at no less than $24, but most are over $30. Like I said, is a nice place but pricy.

This is a very good place. We like it a lot specially the crepes! Delicious! Nonetheless this last time we got a lousy waiter. However, food is great and atmosphere is pleasant!

Very fancy, delicious food, 3 dollar martini Thursdays! If they have live music that night, you're in for a real treat, great fun for the whole family. Highly reccomend it, one of the best fine dining places in all of Brownsville. 5 stars

Had a very nice evening at the restaurant. I ordered the lamb ribs and they were amazing. We liked that the waitress suggest us drinks. Service was very fast

This place is supposed to be upscale and the food was microwave worthy. I specifically asked the waiter about the dish being spicy and I received a super spicy dish. I let the waiter know and he looks at me as if I could not afford the dish and says, " You can't return it but I'll ask the manager." I told him well you best do something because the menu does not state that it is extremely spicy. He looks at the menu and says oh I didn't see that. Besides that everything was, as I said, microwave worthy. I was expecting extremely delicious dishes and that was not the case. The live music was great and the ambiance was fantastic but the food and service was not equivocal. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place or even return to this establishment.
